North Central Regional Planning Commission Banquet Set for November 6 in Concordia

The North Central Regional Planning Commission (NCRPC) will host its bi-annual banquet on Thursday, November 6 in Concordia. The theme will be making the American Dream happen in Kansas. Jerrod Westfahl, attorney and former CEO of PurpleWave.com, will be the guest speaker. Westfahl is a dynamic and engaging serial entrepreneur in Kansas and the Midwest.

NCRPC Executive Board Chairman Tim Vandall says the banquet offers an opportunity for executive board and staff to connect with many stakeholders from around the region.

"The banquet is a platform for citizens throughout the region to learn more about the services NCRPC provides," Vandall says. "It also gives staff and board members an opportunity to look at the progress the organization and region have made in the last 24 months."

The banquet will be at the recently renovated Lincoln Elementary Building, owned by Valley Rental Center, located at 803 Valley Street, Concordia, Kansas. A social hour will begin at 5 p.m. followed by dinner at 6 p.m. and the keynote address immediately following. The public is invited to attend. The cost is $15 per person. Reservations are required and may be made by calling the NCRPC at 785-738-2218 or emailing ncrpc@nckcn.com by October 28.

The NCRPC is a comprehensive community development and planning organization that has served North Central Kansas for more than 40 years. Currently, 12 counties and 84 cities make up the primary service area. For more about the NCRPC, visit www.ncrpc.org.
