Marvin Werner, Age 91

Marvin Otto Werner of Hebron, NE the son of Martin and Caroline (Schardt) Werner was born January 1, 1924 in rural Deshler, NE. He departed this life Wednesday February 25, 2015 at Parkview Haven Nursing Home in Deshler, NE at the age of 91 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers; Otto and Arnold Werner, and one sister Luella Dittmer.

He is survived by his wife Agnes of Hebron, three sons; Mark and wife Kristin, Allen and wife Pamela both of Davenport, and Todd of Deshler, NE, four grandchildren; Sarah, Daniel, Rachel and Leah Werner, nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be Saturday February 28, 2015 at Trinity Lutheran Church Friedensau, NE at 10:30 AM. Officiant will be Vicar Seth DeBartole, casket bearers; Maurice Schardt, Rod Holtzen, Dale Holtzen, Rick Stengel, Dave Fintel, and Eugene Werner. Visitation will be Friday 1 to 7 PM at Deshler Memorial Funeral Home in Deshler, NE. Burial will be in the church cemetery, condolences may be left at www.krollfh.com. Memorial in care of the family. Deshler Memorial Funeral Home of Deshler, NE is in charge of arrangements.
