Nellie Littrell, Age 87

Nellie Irene Littrell, the daughter of William and Nora (Kramer) Janssen, was born on February 25, 1928 near Mt. Clare, Nebraska. She passed away on March 5, 2015 at the Brodstone Memorial Hospital at Superior, Nebraska at the age of 87 years and 8 days.

Nellie was united in marriage to Robert Littrell on December 31, 1950, in Concordia, Kansas. This union was blessed with 2 children, Jon and Gail.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Robert on June 24, 1994; her brother, Dale Janssen and two sisters, Ruth Wehrman and Lorene Adamson.

Nellie is survived by her son, Jon Littrell and wife Pat of Roca, Nebraska; and daughter, Gail Littrell of Lincoln, Nebraska; 3 granddaughters, Casey, Caitlin and Tara Littrell all of Lincoln, Nebraska; along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held on Sunday, March 15, 2015 at 2:00 pm from the Nelson Community United Church of Christ in Nelson, Nebraska with Rev. Dr. Stephen Berry officiating. Private Family inurnment was in the Nelson Cemetery at Nelson, Nebraska. Memorials are suggested to go to the Nelson Community United Church of Christ.
