Velma Bowers, Age 91

Velma Josephine Bowers, daughter of Arthur Lorimor and Anna (Woodka) Lorimor was born May 24, 1923 at Rural Rydal, Kansas and passed away on April 12, 2015 at Belleville, Kansas at the age of 91 years, 10 months and 18 days.
Velma was united in marriage to Joe W. Noble on May 24, 1944 and to this union five sons were born, Gary, Dennis, Billy, Terry, Brian. Joe Noble passed away on January 17, 1980. She was united in marriage to Joye W. Bowers on August 13, 1988. Joye Bowers passed away on March 27, 1996.
Velma was a member of the First Baptist Church, Belleville, Kansas.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, Arthur and Anna Lorimor, husbands, Joe Noble and Joye Bowers, two sons, Gary Noble and Dennis Noble, one brother, Glen Lorimor, one sister, Florence Ahrens, one half brother, Perry Lorimor.
She is survived by three sons, Billy (Vickie) Noble of Belleville, KS., Terry Noble of Belleville, KS., Brian Noble of Bartlesville, OK., daughter in law, Sheila Sjoholm of Hardy, Nebraska, two step sons, Phillip Bowers of Downers Grove, Illinois, Larry Bowers of Manhattan, KS., 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and many more that called her grandma, nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be held Two PM, Friday, April 17, 2015, First Baptist Church, Belleville, KS., conducted by Pastor Bruce Burfield.
Interment will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, rural Belleville, Kansas
Memorials may be given to First Baptist Church or Alzheimer's Association
Friends may call on Wednesday from 1 PM to 9 PM, Thursday from 9 AM to 9 PM at Bachelor-Surber Funeral Home, Belleville, KS.
