Merna McReynolds, Age 82

Merna McReynolds died in the early morning hours of May 13, 2015 surrounded by her family at the Cloud Co. Health Center in Concordia, Ks. She was born on September 21, 1932 in Osborne County, Kansas to Dwight & Minnie (Martens) Kaser. Merna grew up in Osborne and spent all her life here. Over the years she worked as a waitress and cook for several restaurants in Osborne such as The Huddle, C & J Diner, Gibson's Cafe, The Depot to name a few. Merna married James McReynolds and to this union were born five children: Daniel, Dwight, Dana, Darwin, and Darla. She is survived by her husband Jim of the home in Concordia; sons Daniel of Concordia, Ks., Dwight of Alton, Ks., Darwin of Kensington, Ks. and daughter Dana Hollerich of Tipton, Ks. She is also survived by her brother Merlin Kaser of Columbus, Ohio; 19 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter Darla Keever in 2012.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Clark-Gashaw Funeral Home, Osborne, KS. Burial will be in Osborne Cemetery, Osborne, KS.
