Dave L. Dutton, age 66, former Concordia resident, entered into rest on Thursday, June 25, 2015 at his home in Warsaw, Missouri. He was born in Concordia, Kansas on July 10, 1948 to Orville and Louise (Dugan) Dutton.

He Graduated from Concordia High School in 1966.

Dave was a United States Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War, and was awarded the Purple Heart.

Dave was a Snap-on Tool Sales Representative, and Rural Postal Carrier in Concordia.

He married Danette Koch at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Concordia on August of 1973. They later divorced.

He married Sharon Meinert at Dennison, Colorado on July 3, 1991. She survives of the home.

Other Survivors include his 2 daughters, Jennifer Dutton, Kansas City, MO.; Amanda Dutton, San Diego, CA.; 1 Son, Jeffrey, Los Angeles, CA.; 1 step-daughter, Salem Cairns (Chris)
Eldorado, KS.; Brother, Dennis Dutton , Windsor, CO.; 4 Sisters, Leslie Smith, Westminister, CO.; Patricia Shubert, Salina, KS.; Nora Parker (Robert), Manhattan, KS.; Marcey Baumgartner, Sabetha, KS.; 4 Grandchildren, and multiple nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by both parents, 1 sister, Martha Gatrell.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. all at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home in Concordia.

A Funeral Service will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home with Rev. Dean Frazier officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, Jamestown, Kansas. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Wounded Warrior Project in care of the Funeral Home. For online condolences may be sent to www.chaputbuoy.com
