The St. John's Tipton Blue Jays captured the third place trophy at the 1A division 2 boys State basketball tournament in Dodge City on Saturday by defeating Logan 56 to 41 ....St Johns got off to a much better start on Saturday than on Friday leading 16 to 8 after a quarter and30 - 20 at halftime... The St John's Tipton boys were led by Davis Dubbert with 31 points Dubbert
was named the Orthopedic Sports Health Clinic player of the game.... The H&R Block block of the game went to Aaron Henke....the st. John's Tipton boys finish the year 25 and 1 and win the third-place trophy at the 1A Division II State basketball tournament at United Wireless Arena in Dodge City Kansas
