Darlene Havel, Age 73

Darlene M. Havel, 73, of Belleville, KS passed away on Jun 15, 2016. She was born August 24, 1942 at Clifton, KS to Raymond Begnoche and Thelma (Doorman) Begnoche. She was retired from the Republic Co. Highway Department. She was united in marriage to Kenneth R. Havel on Aug. 19, 1962.

Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, infant son, and one brother, Jerry.

Darlene is survived by her husband Kenneth R. Havel of Belleville, KS; one daughter, Melana (Scott) Sandquist of Smolan, KS; one son, Monte Ray (Pam) Havel of Burlingame, KS; five grandchildren, Nicholas and Tiffany Havel, Christopher and Lindsey Sandquist, and Stephanie (Spencer) Brown; one great-grand-child, Katie; one brother, Dean (Elaine) Begnoche of Clyde, KS; one sister, Shirley LeBlanc of Clyde, KS; other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Saturday, June 18, 2016 at the Bachelor-Surber Memorial Chapel, Belleville, KS.

Interment will be at the National Bohemian (Kopsa) Cemetery, rural Cuba, KS

Visitation: 9 AM-9 PM Friday with the family greeting friends 7 PM-8PM
