Gentile Rehbein, age 86, died on July 31, 2016 at Mt. Joseph Senior Village, Concordia, KS. She was born on Aug. 8, 1929 in Visgnola Di Bellagio, Italy to Giuseppe "Joe" and Orsola (Miotti) Bricalli.

Gentile was preceded in death by her husband Karl; her parents and brothers, Bartolemeo "Meo" and Luigi "Lui" Brichalli.

She is survived by her daughter Pinuccia (Eric) Witzberger of Jacksonville, Alabama, daughter Loredana (Rick) Kaiser of Kansas, Oklahoma, son Mario (Connie) Rehbein of Cary, North Carolina, son Bruno (Jodi) Rehbein, daughter Barbara (Scott) Nelson, and son Kenny Rehbein all of Concordia. Grandchildren Kevin (Laura) Witzberger of Manteca, California, DeeDee (Jeromy) Johnson of Cedartown, Georgia, Craig (Stephanie) Arganbright of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Toby Arganbright of Claremore, Oklahoma, Jenni (Cary) Allen of Fairview, North Carolina, Britni (Kaleb) Tremblay of Concordia, Miranda Turpin of Etna, California Stacie (Nathan) Labarge of Concordia, Brooke (Lionel Busgith) Nelson of Vista, California, Michael (Marissa) Nelson of Concordia, Alison (Johnny) Nitti of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Tyler Verzier of Bonners Ferry, Idaho and Great Grandchildren Cooper and Diana Witzberger, Chesney Johnson, Chloe and Sacha Arganbright, Ben and Jamie Allen, Brady Labarge , Creighton Nelson, Dodger Nitti and Conor William Tremblay.

She married Karl Rehbein on Oct. 27, 1949 in Visgnola Di Bellagio, Italy. Gentile immigrated to this country in February 1957 along with her husband and three children. She was a homemaker and for 27 years worked for Sisters of St. Joseph at the St. Mary's Convent. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church and often times volunteered preparing meals for various events.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am, Thurs., Aug. 4, 2016 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Fr. David Metz officiating. Burial will follow at St. Concordia Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 am to 9 pm Wed., Aug. 3, 2016 with an Altar Society Rosary at 5 pm followed by a Vigil service at 6 pm and the family greeting friends after the Vigil service all at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home.
