Harold Gharring, Age 86

Harold F. Gharring, son of Clarence and Clela (Corman) Gharring, was born on May 5, 1930 at Nelson, Nebraska; he passed away on Thursday, Sept. 8, 2016 at Harvard Rest Haven in Harvard, Nebraska at the age of 86 years.

Harold grew up in Nelson and Superior, Nebraska area and graduated from Superior High School class of 1949. On July 18, 1954 Harold was united in marriage to Marjorie R. Gomer of Nampa, ID. They were blessed with four children; Debra, Nancy, Judy and Harold. Harold entered the Army on January 19, 1951 and was honorably discharged on April 6, 1954 with the rank of Corporal. After returning from the service he moved to Nampa, ID where he met and married Marjorie Gomer, had a dairy farm and his four children were born. In February of 1968 he moved with his family to Nebraska, settling in Bostwick where he farmed and managed the Bostwick elevator. In 1984 he moved back to Nampa, ID where he was a realtor and married Mildred in 1996. He moved to an assisted living facility in Nebraska in 2015.

He was an elder at the Superior Church of Christ and was an active member in the Christian community all of his life. He lasted attended Ten Mile Christian Church in Meridian, ID. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Ruth Grogan, step mother Bernice Gharring and his first wife Marjorie Rose (Gomer) Gharring.

Survived by his second wife Mildred Gharring of Nampa, ID; sister Rose Jennings and husband Doug of Yucca, AZ; his children Debra Drake and husband Douglas of Clay Center, Nancy Erausquin and husband Carlos of Nampa, ID, Judy Cramer and husband James of Thermopolis, WY and Harold F. Gharring II and wife Diane of Nampa, ID; grandchildren Jamie Tish and husband Brian, Nick Drake and wife Lindsay, Andrea Rumple and husband Brian, David Erausquin, Jillian Sweeney and husband Derek, Harold (Buddy) F. Gharring III, Amy Gharring, John Cramer, Brian Gharring and Jennifer Cramer; and 9 great grandchildren.
