Beulah Maxine Wilson died peacefully September 17, 2016, at the Golden Living Center, Downs, Kansas at the age of 95. She was born to Herbert N. and Sarah Elizabeth (Green) Skinner on November 28, 1920, at the family farm home near Mankato, Kansas. Beulah attended Green Hill and Mankato Elementary Schools and graduated from Mankato High School with the class of 1938. Following high school, she continued her education at Strickler's Business College in Topeka then worked for State Representative, Joe R. Beeler, at the Kansas State Legislature in 1939. She married G. Woodrow Wilson at her parents' home on July 30.1939. They lived and worked on their farm north of Mankato for 62 years before moving to the Wilde Ridge Estates in Superior, NE, in 2001. Beulah and Woody enjoyed 70 years of marriage prior to Woody's death in 2009. Beulah was a dedicated homemaker caring for the needs of her family. She was a wonderful cook and took pride in the presentation of the dishes she served. Family favorites included her meringue pies, angel food cake, and Christmas candies. In her spare time she enjoyed needlework. She also enjoyed fishing for catfish from the bridge over the White Rock Creek. She was active in the CWC and CB Clubs and attended Olive Hill Church. She served as Treasurer of Richland Township for many years and on the election board numerous times. Beulah and Woody enjoyed traveling throughout the U.S., taking several group sightseeing bus tours as well as many road trips on their own. They especially enjoyed visiting the Rocky Mountains in the summer to "cool off" following wheat harvest. For many years, they enjoyed trailer camping with their friends, "The Over the Hill Gang", at the Lovewell Reservoir recreation area. Her family and those who knew her will miss Beulah's smile and loving wink.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her sister, June Steadman, brother Lloyd Skinner, and her husband Woodrow.
