Carl Miller, Age 69

Carl Leroy Miller, 69, died Monday Oct. 3, 2016, at his home in Downs, KS. He was born Oct. 20, 1946, in Beloit to Floyd and Wand (Hart) Miller. He was an industrial welder at several companies.

Carl is survived by: wife, Barbara; children, Dawn Johnson of Little River, KS, Christi Catton of McPherson, KS, Brian Miller of McPherson, KS, George Edmonson of McPherson; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; siblings, Mary Parrott of Phillipsburg, KS, Nancy Bergman of Cawker City, KS, Craig Miller of McPherson, KS, Eddie Miller of Downs, KS, Vernon Miller of McPherson, KS; and his dog, Caesar.

Visitation: 4-7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7, at Lighthouse Community Church, Downs with Rev. George Henry officiating.
Services: 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, at the church. Interment: Downs City Cemetery.

Memorials are to Solomon Valley Hospice or Best Friends Foundation, in care of Clark-Gashaw Mortuary, Osborne.
