Evon Ferron, Age 92

Evon E. Ferron , age 92, died Sat., Oct. 8, 2016 at Republic County Hospital Long Term Care, Belleville, KS. She was born on June 15, 1924 in Clyde, KS to Joseph W. & Violet L. (Gepner) Couture. Evon graduated from Clyde High School and she married Ralph T. Ferron on Aug 26, 1946 in Clyde, KS and he preceded her on March 22, 1989. She lived most of her life in Independence, MO where she worked as a school cafeteria manager for several elementary schools until she moved to Belleville, KS. She was a member of the Catholic church.

She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Ferron, Belleville; brother, Joe Couture (Doreen), Abilene & several nieces, nephews, & great nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph; her parents; brother, Leonard Couture & sister, Edith Couture.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 12th at 11:00 am at St. Edward Catholic Church, Belleville, with Fr. David Metz officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Clyde. Visitation will be held an hour prior to the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Guiding Eyes of the Blind in care of the funeral home.
