Luke Heskamp, W1 - #3

Luke Heskamp, Spearville, has been selected for the Division I West Squad. He is a 2017 graduate of Spearville High School and plans to attend college and major in Ag Business. Football statistics and accomplishments include 1,000 plus rushing yards junior and senior years, named Dodge City MVP Offensive Player of the Year, All State Runningback in 2015 and 2016, All State Honorable Mention in 2014, Second Team All-State 2014, All League Honorable Mention Runningback 2013, All League First Team Runningback and Defensive Back 2015 and 2016. Spearville reached the state playoffs all 4 years and were conference champions 3 years. In 2014 they were District, and Bi-District Champions; 2015 District, Bi-District, Sub-State and State Champions with an undefeated season; 2016 District and Bi-District Champions. Honors and accomplishments in other sports include basketball, 2013-14th reached the state tournament; regular season league champions, SPIAA Tourney Champions, Honorable Mention League, 2014-15; SPIAA Tourney Champions, Sub-State Runner-Up and selected All State and All League in 2015-2016. Luke enjoys farming, hunting, fishing, track and baseball. Activities and honors in school include Big Brothers Big Sisters Association and StuCo representative 9th grade. Luke's parents are Jeff and Connie Heskamp, Spearville.
