Gerald Morehead, W1 - #9

Gerald Morehead, Goldwater, has been selected for the Division I West Squad. He is a 2017 graduate of South Central High School and plans to attend college and obtain a degree in Coaching and Instruction. Football statistics and accomplishments include: 3173 rushing yards, 5 INT's; 63 rushing TDs, 1967 passing yards, 34 passing TDs, 296 tackles, 12 sacks, 7 caused fumbles. Gerald was named 3 time All District 1st Team, 2 time Honorable Mention All State, All-League Second QB 2015, All League First Team RB 2016 and District Offensive MVP in 2015. South Central was District Runner-Up in 2013 and 2014, District Champions in 2015 and District and Bi-District Champions in 2016. Gerald was a member of the two time state qualifying 4x800 meter relay. He works for K-Squared Roofing Company during the summer and enjoys weight lifting and watching sports. Activities and honors in school include NHS, StuCo, FCA, Honor Roll, basketball and track and field. Gerald's parents are Rocky Morehead and April Nighswonger.
