Cole Sramek, McDonald, has been selected for the Division I West Squad. He is a 2017 graduate of Rawlins County High School and plans to attend Fort Hays State University. Football Statistics and honors include career: 3,923 rushing yards, 56 total touchdowns, 394 tackles, 11 interceptions, 420 reception yards, 34 passes defensed, 408 total points scored. He was named KPREPS 2016 8 I Man All State Team Defensive Back, 2016: All District 1st Team Defensive Back and 1st Team Runningback, NWKL 1st Team Running back and 1st Team Defensive Back; 2015: KPREPS 8 Man 1 All State Team Defensive Back and Running Back, All District 1st Team Defensive Back and 1st Team Running Back, NWKL 1st Team Defensive Back, Running Back; 2014: NWKL 1st Team Defensive Back and Running Back, All District 1st Team Defensive Bak and Honorable Mention Running Back. Rawlins County was the 8 Man District 8 Runner-Up 2013, 2014, 2015 & 2016. Honors and accomplishments in other sports include: KSHSAA 3-2-1A State Wrestling 6th place, 145 lbs., 2017; Varsity Wrestling 2013-2017; Kansas Kids State Wrestling Qualifier, 2014 & 2016; NWKL Wrestling Team Champions, 2015; LTG Award from Kearney Wrestling, 2014; Varsity Track, 2014-2017; Regional Track Qualifier 2016. Activities and honors outside school include 4-H Treasurer 2016-2017, Parliamentarian 2015-2016, Secretary 2014-2015, Council Member 2014-2017; Reigning Barnyard Olympic Champion 2015 & 2016; CYO Member 2013-2017; CYO Treasurer, 2015-2017. Cole enjoys hunting and fishing. Honors and activities in school include National Honor Society Member, 2015-2017; Snowball King 2016, Homecoming Candidate 2016, Prom Candidate 2016, FFA Scholarship Award 2016, FFA Member 2013-2016, SADD Member 2013-2015, and Spanish Club Member 2013-2015. Cole's parents are Aaron and Lacy Sramek, McDonald.
