Colton Schmidt, W2 - #22

Colton Schmidt has been selected to play on the Division II West side. He is a 2017 graduate of Ingalls High School and plans to attend Fort Hays State University, studying agriculture economics. Colton's football statistics, accomplishments and honors include: 3,647 passing yards with 56 passing touchdowns, 745 rushing yards with 19 touchdowns. He lettered 3 years and was chosen All District Honorable Mention in 2014, All District Quarterback in 2015 and All State Honorable Mention Wichita Eagle in 2016.
Ingall's had a 7-3 record in 2013 and was District and Bi-District runner-up; in 2014 they had an undefeated regular season and finished as regional runner-ups finishing the season at 10-1; in 2015 they had a 9-2 record and were regional runner-ups; and in 2016 Ingalls had an 8-2 record and was bi-district runner-up. Colton was a member of the basketball team and was named All-League Honorable Mention in 2014, 2nd Team All-League in 2015 and 2nd Team All-League in 2016. He was a high jump state track qualifier in track in 2015 and placed 7th in the high jump at state in 2016. Activities and honors outside of school include 4-H. Inside school activities include KAYS, I-Club and Student Council. Colton's parents are Michael and Kerry Schmidt, Ingalls.
