The St Johns Tipton Boys and Girls basketball teams opened play Tuesday in the Pre Season Tourney at Downs.

The Lady Jays were down to Lakeside 45-33 with 4 minutes to play and staged a furious rally which saw St Johns outscore Lakeside 15-1 to win the game. Lauren Dubbert had 18...Kara Eilert had 14 and Avery gates had 12...St Johns now 2-0...will face Thunder Ridge Friday and Osborne Saturday.
