Rosalee Farmer Olson, age 90, left this earthly life on Friday, April 13, 2018, at Sunset Nursing Home, Concordia. She was born in Solomon Rapids, KS to Earl D. & Lucretia L. (Barklow) Senters. Rosalee married Buddy L. Farmer on Oct. 6, 1946, in Belleville, KS and he preceded her in death on July 23, 1989. During their marriage, she graduated from Jamestown High School in 1964. She operated her own business and was a long time custom cake decorator in the area. After Buddy passed away, she later married Harvey Olson on April 18, 1992, and he preceded her on Feb. 18, 2016. She was a member of the 1st UMC, the United Methodist Women, Mostly Moms, E.H.U., Red Hat Society and played cards for the Chamber Marathon. She and Harvey volunteered at the Cloud County Museum and were members of the Heartland Auto Club & Salina Antique Car Club.

Survivors include her son, Mike Farmer (Mary), Salina; daughter, Jana Strecker (Joe), Concordia; step-daughters, Dorothy (Dot) Anderson (Lyle), Courtland, Kimberly Webster, Keller, TX & Nancy Ebanks, Houston, TX; step-son, Richard Olson (Linda), Kechi; 14 grandchildren & 7 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Buddy L. Farmer & Harvey Olson; brother, Harold Senters & sister, Betty Lou Olds.

Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Wed., April 18, 2018, at the First United Methodist Church, Concordia with Pastor Melanie Adams officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Concordia. Visitation will be 12-8 pm with family greeting friends from 6:30 to 7:30 pm, Tues., April 17, 2018, all at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home.
