Beloit to host 34th Annual Kansas 8 Man All Star Games
The 34th Annual Kansas 8 Man All Star Football games will be played in Beloit on Saturday, June 8th. The Division II game will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Trojan Field on North Hersey Avenue. Pregame will begin at 9:30 a.m. with introduction of the players.
The Beloit Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Pep Rally for the players, coaches and fans on Friday, June 7th, starting at 4 p.m. at Chautauqua Park.

Caden Bach, Philliipsburg, has been selected for the Division II West Team. He is a 2019 graduate of Northern Valley High School.
Football statistics and accomplishments include: selected All District Linebacker in 2017, Honorable Mention All State in Wichita Eagle; 2018 All-District Runningback and All District Linebacker.
Northern Valley was the District Champions in 2017 and District Runner-Up in 2018.
Honors and accomplishments in other sports include 2018: 1A javelin champion and high jump champion; 2017 all league basketball, 2018 all league basketball and 2019 all league basketball. Northern Valley was the 2018 1A Division 2 State Basketball Champions.
Caden is a member of FFA and was elected to the National Honor Society.
His parents are Anthony and Monica Bach and his future plans are undecided.

Tyler Barrientes, has been selected to play on the Division II West squad. He is a 2018 graduate of Sylvan-Lucas High School.
He was a four year letterman in football and was selected All District and All State Honorable Mention.
Honors and accomplishments in other sports include 4 year letterman in basketball and track. The basketball team qualified for the state tournament his freshman year.
Hobbies and interests include watching NFL and college basketball, playing X-Box and spending time with his family.
Tyler's other is Allison McGuire and plans to attend Fort Hays State University and major in athletic training.

David Cramer, Healy, has been selected to play on the Division II West squad. He is a 2018 graduate of Dighton High School.
Football honors and statistics include: 2016: NWKL All League 2nd Team Split End; 2017: NWKL All League 2nd Team Split End, HM Linebacker; 2018: NWKL All League 1st Team Split End, 1st Team Linebacker; Hutch News All-Area 8 Man 1st Team Utility player; Garden City Telegram All Area 2nd Team, WR/LB; Topeka Capital-Journal All-State 8 Man Div II End.
In 2016 Dighton was State Runners Up in 8 Man Division II; and in 2018 they were District, Regional, Sectional Champs and Sub-State Runner-up with a 9-3 record.
Honors and accomplishments in other sports include: 2017-2018: NWKL Honorable Mention Basketball; 2018-2019: NWKL 2nd team; 2016 State Qualifier in the 4x800 and 4x400; 2017 State Qualifier 4x800, 4x400 (2nd) and 4x100; 2016 State Basketball qualifier. David lettered in cross country 1 year, football 3 years and basketball and track 4 years.
He was in the KU Honor Scholar program.
Hobbies and interests include sports, hunting, fishing, and spending time with family.
David was on the high honor roll all 4 years of high school.
His parents are Dean and Cindi Cramer and his future plans are undecided.

Joshua Daily, Wallace, has been selected for the Division II West Team. He is a 2019 graduate of Wallace County High School.
Football accomplishments include named 2nd Team All League Center and Defensive Lineman.
Wallace County reached the state playoffs and made it to sub-state in 2015 and 2016 and made the state playoffs in 2018.
Joshua was a member of the state basketball state champion team and 4th place state team.
He is a member and officer of 4-H, and has served as club president, treasurer and vice president. He has served on the 4-H Council as treasurer and vice president and received the 4-H Key Award. He attended the 4-H National Conference in Atlanta, Georgia.
Joshua enjoys shooting sports, hunting and working with animals.
Activities ad honors include basketball, football, track and golf 4 years; pep band 3 years, fall play 4 years, forensics state champion and sixth place and received 3 sport awards for 4 years.
Joshua's parents are Curtis and Melinda Daily. He plans to attend Kansas State University and major in animal science and minor in pre-vet.

Anton Foust, Otis, has been selected for the Division II West team. He is a 2019 graduate of Otis-Bison High School.
Football statistics and honors include: passing - 94 completions out of 165 attempts for 1,598 yards, 43 TD's, 3 interceptions, with a quarterback rating of 121.9; rushing - 246 carries for 2540 yds., 44 TDs; receiving - 19 receptions for 315 yds., 4 TDs; defense - 194 total tackles, 2 sacks, 7 interceptions, 2 for TDs, 2 caused fumbles, 1 fumble recovery; special teams - 31.7 yds average per punt, 11 kickoff returns for 344 yds., and 4 kickoff returns for TD's.
Otis-Bison was sub-state runner up in 2017 and 2018.
Honors and accomplishments in other sports include: state qualifier in the 4x400m relay in 2016, sub-state champion in basketball in 2016-2017 and 2017-2018, state qualifier in the 4x400m relay in 2018, 5th place in the squat in 2016, 4th place in clean in 2018, Topeka Capital Basketball all-State Honorable Mention 2017-2018 and Winter All-Tournament Team.
Anton is involved in community service projects and enjoys hunting, fishing, golf and automotive work.
Activities and honors in school include STUCO, SADD, KAY, honor roll, forensics, math relays, NHS, band/vocal, woods, Barton CountyCommunity College Automotive Technology Program and perfect attendance.
Anton's parents are Chad and Crystal Foust and his future plans are undecided.

Landon Gering, Smith Center, has been selected for the Division II West Team. He is a 2019 graduate of Thunder Ridge High School.
Football accomplishments and honors include: named to the Northern Plans League 1st Team and State Honorable Mention.
Accomplishments in other sports include 2018 State Track Qualifier, placing 6th in the 4x400m relay.
Activities and honors in school include Honor Roll all 4 years, Homecoming King, National Honor Society 3 years and student council 3 years.
Landon's parents are Alan Gering and Dana Hughes. His future plans are to attend Fort Hays State University and major in Informatics.

Brandon Grauerholz, Kensington, has been selected for the Division II West Team. He is a 2019 graduate of Thunder Ridge High School.
Football statistics and accomplishments include named Honorable Mention for 8 Man Division II, 1st Team All District and Sports in Kansas receiving yards leader.
Thunder Ridge made the playoffs.
Accomplishments in other sports include state qualifier and medalist in track for the 200m and 4x400m relay.
Brandon enjoys weightlifting and has been on the High School Honor Roll and is a member of KAYS.
His parents are Darren and Nicki Grauerholz and Brandon's future plans are to attend college and obtain a degree in physical therapy.

Blair Hoffman, Dighton, has been selected to play on the Division II West squad. He is a 2018 graduate of Otis-Bison High School.
Football statistics and accomplishments include: 2018: All League 1st Team Quarterback, 1st Team Defensive Back, 1st Team Punter, 2nd Team Return Specialist; 2017: Honorable Mention Quarterback/Defensive end; 2016: Honorable Mention Defensive Back.
Dighton was Sub-State Runner-Up in 2016 and 2018.
Honors and accomplishments in other sports include qualifying for the state track meet 3 years, powerlifting-KEMFA Individual Place with the team placing 2 years.
Hobbies and interests include hunting and hanging out with friends.

Blair's parents are Dustin and Crystal Hoffman and he plans to attend Pratt Community College.

Darnell Holloway, Osborne, has been selected to play on the Division II West squad. He is a 2018 graduate of Osborne High School.
Football statistics and accomplishments include: 2017: 783 passing yards, 12 TDs, 5 INTs, 808 rushing yards - 14 TDs, 88 carries, 9.2 yards per carry; 2018: 992 passing yards, 15 TDs, 3 INT's; 1,616 rushing yds, 31 TD's, 147 carries, 11 yds per carry; career totals include: 1,775 passing yards, 27 TD's, 8 INT's, 2,424 rushing yds - 45 TDs, 235 carries, 10.3 yds per carry; He was selected all State Quarterback in 2018 and All State Honorable Mention in 2017.
Osborne reached the playoffs in 2017 with a 9-2 record, losing to St. Paul in the sectional game; in 2018 they lost the state championship game to Hanover by a score of 58-50 with an 11-2 record.
Darnell was selected All Area and All League in basketball.
He enjoys playing X-Box and hanging out with friends.
Activities and honors in school include KAYS for 2 years and 2018 Maroon and Gold Honor Roll with a 3.6 GPA.
Darnell's parents are Darren and Mellissa Holloway and he plans to attend Fort Hays State University and play football.

Luke Johnson, Sharon Springs, has been selected to play on the Division II West squad. He is a 2018 graduate of Wallace County High School.
Football statistics and accomplishments include: 2017: Honorable Mention Defensive Back League; 2018: 1st Team Defensive Back League, Honorable Mention All-State Defensive Back and All Area.
Wallace County was Sub-State Runner-Up in 2016 and played in a Bracket Game in 2018.
Luke was selected as the hardest worker in basketball and most improved player. Wallace County was state champions in basketball in 2017 and 4th place in 2018.
Luke plans to be a dairy farmer. He enjoys dairy farming, playing ball with the boys, chillin with the boys and football.
He was a 4 year honor student at Wallace County High School.
Luke's parents are Ole and Jessica Johnson and he plans to own and operate a dairy.

Nick Malone, Kiowa, has been selected for the Division II West squad. He is a 2019 graduate of South Barber High School.
Football statistics and accomplishments include selected for the Wichita Eagle 2018 All State Team, 2018 Top 100 Senior Football Players - Sports in Kansas, 2019 All Star KEMFA, Capital Journal 2018 All State Honorable Mention Line, Gatehouse, KS 8-Man Division II Honorable Mention, All District Lineman and All League Offensive Lineman.
South Barber was District, Bi-District and Regional Champions in 2017 and 2018 and District and Bi-District Champions in 2016.
Accomplishments in other sports include: 2018 KS High School Trap Shooting League - 1st place individual in conference, 6th place individual in state, 1st place team in conference, KS State High School All State Team, USA HS Clay Target League National Championship participant.
Activities outside of school include South Barber Youth Group, Kiowa County Hospital Service landscaping grounds, planting trees and shrubs and distributing mulch.
Hobbies and interests include trapshooting, hunting, anything outdoors and woodworking.
Activities and honors in school include FFA Star Greenhand, FFA State Degree, FFA State Delegate and FFA State Choir, Kansas State HS Clay Target National Championship participant, KS State Boys State Representative, KS State HS All State Trapshooting; Freshman and Senior Homecoming Attendant, Kansas Boys State Representative 2018; Show Choir, Forensics, Drama and Student Council representative.

Kade Miller, Osborne, has been selected for the Division II West team. He is a 2019 graduate of Osborne High School.
Football statistics include: 254 solo tackles, 18 tackles for loss, 16 interceptions, 24 total touchdowns-16 receiving. 2018: 8 Man Division II Defensive Player of the Year finalist, District 5 Defensive MVP, All District 5 Linebacker and Tight End, All State Linebacker-Topeka Capital Journal & Wichita Eagle, 8 Man 1st Team All Area Hays Daily News.
Osborne was the 8 Man Division I Undefeated State Champion in 2016 with a 13-0 record, Division I District and Regional Champions in 2017 with a 9-2 record and Division II State Runner Up in 2018 with an 11-2 record.
Honors and accomplishments in other sports include: selected 2nd Team All-League Basketball 2018 (NPL), 1A DI- Basketball State Runner-Up in 2016, 3 time 1A Sub-State Champions; 2017 1A Grass Green Golf State Champions, 2018 1A Grass Green 3rd Place Golf Team, 4 year letterman in football, basketball and golf, NCKS Sports 2 times Athlete of the Week.
Activities outside of school include volunteer at the annual CASA fundraiser and volunteer work at Nova Theater in Stockton.
Hobbies and interests include golfing, fishing, hunting, kayaking and camping.

Richie Oswalt, Hutchinson, has been selected for the Division II West Squad. He is a 2019 graduate of Central Christian School.
Football statistics, accomplishments and honors include selected 1st team all-league wide receiver, 2nd team all-area wide receiver and Blue-Grey All American.
Central Christian was District Runner-Ups in 2016 and 2018; District Champions in 2017 and Bi-District Champions in 2016 and 2017.
Honors and accomplishments in other sports include state basketball medalist and state track participant.
Activities and honors outside school include Wallace scholarship winner, 100 plus hours of community service, self started mowing business and DSI scholarship semi-finalist.
Richie enjoys weighting and video games.
Activities and honors in school include high honors every semester of high school, 1st place in Academic Olympics in Pre-Calculus and Chemistry; class president 2 years and student government representative.
Richie's parents are Dick and Megan Oswalt and he plans to attend a four year university to pursue an engineering degree.

Jeramy Pfaff, Minneola, has been selected for the Division II West Team. He is a 2019 graduate of Minneola High School.
Football statistics and honors include: 8 yards per carry average, 2,441 career rushing yards, First Team All League, First Team All District, MaxPreps Player of the Week. He had 504 yards rushing in one game.
Jeramy qualified for the state track meet all 4 years of high school.
Activities and honors outside of school include playing baywatch at the pod, lifeguard of the week (awarded by himself).
Hobbies and interests include playing football, lifting weights, talking to girls, hanging out with the boys, being the natural ladies man that he is.

Nick Stutsman, Almena, has been selected for the Division II West Team. He is a 2019 graduate of Northern Valley High School.
Football stats and honors include: 1,980 career rushing yards, 28 TD's; 726 career passing yards, 10 TD's; 377 career receiving yards, 4 TD's; 803 kick returning yards, 1 TD; 121 punt returning yards,; 3321 all purpose career yards, 35 TD's; 195 career solo tackles, 144 career assisted tackles (314 career total) 230 career points.
He was named All District Runningback in 2017; All District Quarterback and All District Defensive Back in 2018.

Jordan Wherry, Osborne, has been selected for the Division II West Team. He is a 2019 graduate of Osborne High School.
Football statistics and honors include: 81 tackles, 1 fumble recovery, 1 interception, 2 sacks; District 5 All-District OL and DL; 2018 Capital Journal All State 8 Man DII Line honorable mention; Hays Daily News All-Area 3 Team.
Osborne reached the sectional game in 2017 and was state runner-up in 2018.
Honors and accomplishments in other sports include: 2016 - Basketball State Runner-up; 2017 - Golf State Champions; 2018 - All-League Basketball Honorable Mention, All State 1A-1 Basketball Honorable Mention.
Honors and activities outside school include playing TAPS at the Burr Oak Community Cemetery for the last 4 years for the American Legion Memorial Day Service. He is active in the Free United Methodist Church.
Jordan enjoys playing basketball whenever he gets the chance. He spends most of his free time playing X-Box with friends or hanging out and finding something to do in person. He also spends time with his 2 younger siblings and family.
Activities and honors in school include KAYS member for 4 years, Student Council for 1 year and FCCLA for 2 years.
Jordan's parents are Kimberly Harris and Chad Wherry. He plans to attend Taber College and major in sports management.
