Mitchell County Hospital Health Systems New Administrator of the Health Systems

The Board of Directors of Mitchell County Hospital Health Systems have announced the hiring of Jeremy Armstrong as the new administrator of the health systems. Armstrong replaces former Hospital Administrator, David Dick, who resigned to take a similar position in his home state at Huron, South Dakota.

Curt Frasier, Chairman of the Board of Mitchell County Hospital Systems shared "We are excited to have Jeremy be a part of our hospital and community. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge of rural healthcare. Jeremy will walk into our doors with the privilege of serving with so many exceptional staff members that make the care of residents and patients their number one priority. We welcome Jeremy and his family to our community."

Armstrong has a strong history in Kansas rural healthcare serving the last eight years at St. Luke Hospital and Living Center in Marion, Kansas. Armstrong was raised in Northeast Kansas and obtained his initial bachelor of science degree from Baker University of Baldwin City, Kansas. He later received his masters of health service administration from the University of Kansas Medical Center.

Armstrong stated "I want to thank the Board at Mitchell County Hospital for their belief in my abilities as the next CEO of the health system. This is a great opportunity for myself, my wife Tammy, and my children. During the interview process, we were overwhelmed with the facility, the staff, and the Board. We had the opportunity to tour the Beloit community, and we as a family, feel this is a perfect fit for the continuation of my career, and a great place to raise our three kids. I look forward to many successful years as the CEO of Mitchell County Hospital Health System."

Armstrong should begin his guidance of Mitchell County Hospital Health Systems by the middle of June.
