The City of Beloit, KS is currently seeking a Water Plant Foreman.
This position will include but not limited to operation, budget, ordering, scheduling and supervision of Operators. Performs a variety of supervisory, administrative, skilled, technical, and maintenance work in the planning, construction, operation, repair, maintenance, and replacement of City Water Treatment Plant and facilities. Works under the general supervision of the Director of Water/Wastewater Operations. Occasionally works a shift as plant operator. Operates a variety of power equipment used in the water treatment plant operations.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: (A) Possess State Certification as a Class III Water Operator, or ability to obtain within one year. (B) Class IV Certification is desirable.
Hiring Range $17.80/hr. to $25.33/hr. Benefits include vacation, KPERS retirement, health insurance, uniforms, holiday and sick leave. The successful applicant must reside within a 15 minute legal drive of the city limits within 6 months of the date of employment.
