A six year old Beloit boy has died in an accident last night just after 7 O'Clock....According to the Kansas Highway Patrol....6 year old
Nolan D. Lewis was running outside a vehicle driven by 28 year old Kay Lynn Lewis. The vehicle started moving and the driver felt a thump and got out of the vehicle to
find that Nolan had been struck by the left rear tire. Nolan D. Lewis was taken to Mitchell County Hospital Health Systems where he died.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol...Kay Lynn Lewis was wearing a safety restraint. Also according to the Kansas Highway Patrol...the accident occurred shortly after
7 O'Clock last night in the 3200 Block of East Road or just west of Charlene Road northeast of Beloit.
