High Speed Chase through Mitchell County Monday afternoon ends in 2 arrests.

This story from the Mitchell County Sheriffs Department....

On Monday June 26th at around 1:10pm...Mitchell County Deputies were notified of a vehicle pursuit entering Mitchell County.  Kansas Highway Patrol Troopers

initiated the pursuit in Russell County and were traveling northbound toward Hunter on 181 Highway.  The pursuit continued north of Hunter to K Road (Tipton

Blacktop) then westbound on K Road. The vehicle traveled north on 110 Road and wrecked at 110 and J.  Two male subjects were arrested and transported back to Russell

County Jail.

In a coversation with the Kansas Highway Patrol....KVSV  Newslearned that the 2 male subjects were from Nebraska and the vehicle they were driving was stolen....

There were also 2 felony warrants outstanding for the passenger in the stolen vehicle.
