Clarence B. Havel, Age 94

Clarence B. Havel of Agenda, KS passed away on September 28, 2017 at the age of 94. He was born September 10, 1923 at rural Agenda, KS, the son of Joseph and Albina Havel. He served with the United States Air Force during WWII. On August 10, 1946, he was united in marriage to Mary Alice Huncovsky. He was a member of the Clyde VFW Post #7515, Clyde, KS, William Fleming American Legion Post # 345, Cuba, KS., served on the Hillcrest USD 455 School Board, served on the Agenda KS, city council.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Albina Havel, Wife, Mary Alice Havel, great grandson, Jesse McCoy two brothers, Leon and Glen, two sisters, Olive and Laura.

He is survived by two daughters, Pamela (Elden) Ninemire of Ozawkie, KS, Sherry (Steven) Anderson of Agenda, KS, four granddaughters and eleven great grandchildren, Stacie (David) Higgins of Bella Vista, Arkansas, Christian, Jacob, Caylie, Joseph, two step great grandchildren, Will and Drew, Shellie (Andy) Wedman of Olathe, KS and Clarissa, William, Lily, Danielle (Andy) Le Doux of Ree Heights, SD and J.W. and Jady, Ashley (Cole) Taylor of Osborne, KS and Camrun and Teegun.

Funeral services will be held 10 AM, Saturday, September 30, 2017, Bachelor-Surber Memorial Chapel, Belleville, KS. Interment will be in Agenda Cemetery, Agenda, KS. Military Graveside services by William Fleming American Legion Post # 345, Cuba, KS. Memorials may be given to Clyde VFW Post # 7515, Clyde KS or William Fleming American Legion Post # 345, Cuba, KS. Friends may call on Friday, September 29, 2017 from 1 PM to 9 PM at Bachelor-Surber Funeral Home, Belleville, KS, where the family will receive friends from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
