Ina Lorraine, the third child of Charles R. and Dorothy (Carter) Love, was born December 4, 1929, northeast of Formoso, Kansas. She passed away February 25, 2019, at the Jewell County Hospital, Mankato, Kansas. Ina was 89 years, 2 months, and 21 days old.
She graduated from Mankato High School.
On August 29th, 1948, she was united in marriage to Glenn Rightmeier at Archer, Nebraska. Three children were born to this marriage - two daughters - Adelia Ann and Debra Marlene and a son - Richard Kevin.
Ina enjoyed quilting, embroidery work and her family and friends.
She is survived by three children - Adelia and husband, Bill Hedden of Winfield, Kansas, Debbie Mahaffy of Derby, Kansas; Richard Rightmeier of Mankato, Kansas; sister - Marilyn and husband, Leonard Meyer of Haysville, Kansas; brother - George and wife - Elaine Love of Cheyenne, Wyoming; and a host of nieces; nephews; and other relatives.
Ina was preceded in death by her husband - Glenn on March 22, 1987; her parents; son-in-law - Butch Mahaffy; two sisters and two brothers.
A celebration of life service for Ina Lorraine (Love) Rightmeier will be (was) Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at the Melby Mortuary Chapel, Mankato, Kansas, with Pastor Rodney Rose officiating. Interment will be (was) in the Mount Hope Cemetery, Mankato, Kansas, next to her beloved husband, Glenn.
