Diana K. McCartney, age 67 of Concordia, passed away Wed., Feb. 27, 2019 at Via Christi-St. Francis, Wichita, KS. She was born on May 21, 1951 in Concordia, KS to Norman J. & Jean M. (Beauregard) LeDuc.
Diana graduated from Clyde High School. She married Darrell E. McCartney on July 26, 1980 in Phillipsburg, KS. He preceded her on Aug. 4, 1984. She was a lifelong Cloud county resident. She worked as a CNA at several nursing homes, lastly at Marquis Place.
She enjoyed playing picture games on the computer and most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Tonja McCartney, Concordia; a son, Tony McCartney, Belleville; brother, Steve LeDuc, Concordia; sister, Anita Ouellette, Concordia; 2 grandchildren, Trinity and Taydin Wilcox Concordia.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell; her parents; a brother, Larry L. LeDuc.
It was Diana's wishes to be cremated and Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home with burial of the cremains at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Concordia with Fr. David Metz officiating. Friends may the sign register book from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Monday, March 4, 2019 at the funeral home.
