Layton Arnold, Age 83

Layton Arnold, 83 years old of Alton, Kansas died Friday March 25, 2016. Layton was born on November 2, 1932 to Lloyd and Thelma (Lohff) Arnold at Alton, KS.

After Layton graduated from Alton High School, he went into the U. S. Army during the Korean War. He married Phyllis Roadhouse. To this union three children were born; Roger, Yvonne and Steve;

Layton was a farmer and rancher. He also did custom harvesting and was a bus driver for the Osborne School system. Layton was a hard worker.

Layton is survived by his wife, Phyllis of the home; one daughter, Yvonne (Dean) Oliver of Osborne, KS; son, Roger (Juanita) of Downs, KS; daughter-in-law, Kim Arnold of Alton; 12 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Steve.
