Dr. Fredrick Weyh, Age 81

Dr. Frederick Jack Weyh, D.D.S., beloved husband, father, grandfather, dentist, and friend passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Family and friends lovingly called him "Doc Weyh", or "Doc", "Papa Doc". Frederick was born the late Leroy Alvin Weyh and Anne (Hruza) Weyh on December 9, 1934.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Leroy Alvin Weyh, Jr. and Marilyn Anne Weyh.
He is survived by his wife of fifty two years, Martha Lee (Christison) Weyh of Cotter, AR, two daughters, Heather Anne Weyh Crunkleton and her husband, Kenny Crunkleton and their children, Chrisianne, Rossalynn, Cecilia and Kenneth Chester "Chet" of Cotter, Arkansas and Shannon Lee Weyh Eickhoff and her husband Dennis and their children, John Weyh Stapaules, Amelia Weyh-Litke and Elijah Jack Eickhoff of Manhattan, Kansas, two sons, Marcus Kent Weyh (and future daughter in law, Patty Belschner) and their children Marcus Jr. and Matthew of St. Cloud, Minnesota and Eric Weyh and his wife Kelly and their children, Nicholas, Heather and Kristen of Jacksonville, Florida and several great grandchildren and many friends who surrounded him. We will miss you so much.
Dr. Weyh grew up in Belleville, KS., where he learned to love golfing, fishing, and quail hunting with his brother. He graduated from Belleville High School in 1952. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1952 to 1955. He attended Washburn University in Topeka, KS from 1956 to 1960 and graduated with a B.S. in biology and chemistry. Following graduation from Washburn, he began dental school at the University of Missouri in Kansas City, MO in the fall of 1960 and graduated in May 1964. During that time, he met the love of his life and married Martha Lee Christison R.N., on September 10, 1963. They both worked at Baptist Hospital in Kansas City, MO. Following his dental school graduation the young couple started their new life in Blue Rapids, KS., and later moved to Marysville, KS. After practicing dentistry in Kansas for fourteen years, the family moved to Scottsdale, Arizona in 1978. Dr. Weyh practiced dentistry in both Scottsdale and Kearny, Arizona until his retirement in 1998. In March 1998, Dr. and Mrs. Weyh relocated to Cotter, AR., where they began their retirement. Doc loved to make things beautiful... from beautiful smiles to beautiful landscaping.
Cremation was chosen.
Memorial services will be held, Eleven AM, April 9, 2016, Bachelor-Surber Memorial Chapel, Belleville, KS., conducted by, Pastor Mark Baldwin.
Military graveside services by the U.S. Navy Honor Guard.
Inurnment will be in Belleville Cemetery, Belleville, Kansas.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to the Hospice of the Ozarks, 701 Burnett Drive, Mountain Home, Arkansas 72653.
