Beloit to host 34th Annual Kansas 8 Man All Star Games
The 34th Annual Kansas 8 Man All Star Football games will be played in Beloit on Saturday, June 8th. The Division 1 game will be held at 1:30 p.m. at Trojan Field on North Hersey Avenue. Pregame will begin at 1:00 p.m. with introduction of the players.
The Beloit Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Pep Rally for the players, coaches and fans on Friday, June 7th, starting at 4 p.m. at Chautauqua Park.

Cody Baxter, St. Francis, has been selected for the Division I West Team. He is a 2019 graduate of St. Francis High School.
Football accomplishments and honors include: Top 100 Senior Football Player, Honorable Mention Defensive Line, All NWKL 1st Team Tight End, All NWKL 1st Team Defensive Line, Hays Daily News 2nd Team All Area Defensive Line, Wichita Eagle Honorable Mention All-State Defensive Line, Topeka Capital Journal Honorable Mention All State Defensive Line.
In 2018 St. Francis was NWKL League Champs, District Champs, Regional Champs, Sectional Champs and Sub-State Runner-Up.
Cody was a State Qualifier in the 100m hurdles and 300m hurdles in 2016.
Outside of school he placed 4th in State Archery in 2014.
Cody enjoys hunting, fishing and Demo Derbying.
His parents are Judy Baxter and the late Tim Baxter and he plans to attend Bethel College, earn a business degree and play football.

Drew Biggs, Lincoln, has been selected for the Division I West Team. He is a 2019 graduate of Lincoln Jr/Sr High School.
Football accomplishments and honors include: 2018: Topeka Capital Journal's All State-All Class Honorable Mention, 4 year letterman in football, Team Captain 2 years. 2018 stats: 60-107 passes for 702 yards, 6 TDs; 130 carries for 1129 yds & 16 TDs, 1450 all purpose yards, averaging 203.4 yards per game, 54 solo tackles, 26 assists, 80 total, 108 total points.
Honors and accomplishments other sports include 3 year letterman in basketball, team captain 2 years; 4 year letterman in baseball.
Drew is a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church Youth Group.
Hobbies and interests include hunting - spending as much time as possible with friends and his Chocolate Lab Nell, hunting whatever is in season! He enjoys fishing in the summer and playing on the Legion Baseball team. Drew also loves spending time and spoiling his niece and nephew, who are two of his biggest fans!
Activities and honors in school include 2018 Homecoming King. He is a member of the Principal's Student Leadership Team.
Drew's parents are Bill and Colleen Biggs and he plans to attend Fort Hays State University.

Conner Born, Hill City, has been selected for the Division I West Team. He is a 2019 graduate of Hill City Jr/Sr High School.
Football accomplishments and honors include: 135 career tackles, 7 tackles for loss, 13 pass deflections, 5 interceptions, 396 rushing yards on 19 carries against DII State Runner-Up (Osborne 8/31/17); 2018 Wichita Eagle Honorable Mention, 2018 Topeka Capital Journal Honorable Mention, 2018 Hays Daily News All-Area 1st Team.
Team achievements include 2016 - MCL 8 Man Champions, 2017 MCL 8 Man Champions, 2018 MCL 8 Man Champions, 2018 8 Man DI Playoffs.
Honors and accomplishments in other sports include: lettering in football 3 years, lettered in basketball 2 years and was a member of the 4th place team at state in 2016, member of the Legion Baseball Team.
Activities and honors outside school include member of the United Methodist Youth Fellowship Program for 7 years, 4-H member for 6 years holding various offices, volunteered and helped work the American Red Cross Blood Drive in Hill City, volunteered and help work with the Graham County Community Garden, helped run the Hill City PRCA Rodeo.
Hobbies and interests include hunting, fishing and riding horses.
Activities and honors in school include: FCCLA (Family, Career and Community Leaders of America) member for 2 years, FFA member for 5 years, host and help run the Kansas High School Rodeo in Hill City, help harvest fall crops at the Hill City FFA Farm.
Conner's parents are Brandt and Brandy Born and he plans to attend NCK Technical College at Hays for the welding program.

Spencer Bowman, Jetmore, has been selected for the Division I West Team. He is a 2019 graduate of Hodgeman County High School.
Football accomplishments and honors include: 2016: 23 total tackles, 2 running touchdowns; 2017: 70 total tackles, 1 interception; 2018: 49 catches for 778 yards, 71 total tackles, 1 interception, 7 total touchdowns.
In 2017 and 2018 Hodgeman County was District Champs and sectional runner-up.
Honors and accomplishments in other sports include state golf 2 years.
Spencer enjoys trap shooting, along with hunting, fishing and trapping.
Activities and honors in school include KAYS, StuCo, A-B Honor Roll 3 years.
Spencer's parents are Scott and Sharon Bowman and he plans to attend Pratt Community College for the Lineman program.

Jarrod Dible, Rexford, has been selected for the Division I West Team. He is a 2019 graduate of Hoxie High School.
Football accomplishments and honors include: 2 defensive touchdowns (interception & fumble recovery), 8 total TDs, 2 interceptions, 31 sacks, 8 fumble recoveries, 519 receiving yards for 5 touchdowns, 8 fumble recoveries, 1 fumble recovery for TD, 3 blocked punts, 10 FFS, 74.5 TFL; 150 solo, 95 assists, 245 total tackles. All-State First Team Defensive End 2018; All State Honorable Mention DE, sophomore year.
Hoxie was 2017 State Champions and in 2018 Bi-District and Regional Champions.
Honors and accomplishments in other sports include: 4th & 3rd place State Golf as a team; 3 time Golf League (NWKL) Champs, 4th Place State Basketball, 2 Time Basketball NWKL League Champs, 3 time Basketball Castle Rock Classic Champions (Quinter, KS) and Basketball All State Honorable Mention.
Jarrod enjoys working, hanging out with friends and family, video games and other sports.
Activities and honors in school include National Honor Society and FFA.
Jarrod's parents are Dan and Deb Dible and he plans to attend college, major in business accounting/management.

Mason Doll, Ellinwood, has been selected for the Division I West Team. He is a 2019 graduate of Central Plains High School.
Football accomplishments and honors include: Offensive Line 1st Team CPL, Defensive Line 1st Team CPL, Offensive Lineman District 5 All District 1st Team, Defensive Lineman District 5 All District 1st Team, Lineman Topeka Capital Journal 8 Man Division I All Class 1st Team, Offensive Line/Defensive Line Sports in Kansas Top 100 Seniors Honorable Mention; 8 Man Division I West All Star Game Selection.
Central Plains was 2017 District Champion, Regional Champion, and Runner-Up Sectional; 2018- Sectional Champion, Substate Champion and State Champion with an undefeated season. They were also CPL Champions.
Mason lettered in track and powerlifting.
He is a member of his church's youth group and enjoys hunting and fishing.
Activities and honors in school include O-Club, FFA, KAY, Junior Class Treasurer and Senior Class Secretary.
Mason's parents are Richard and Jean Doll and he plans to attend North Central Kansas Technical College.

Matt Dougherty, Wichita, has been selected for the Division I West Team. He is a 2019 graduate of Little River High School.
Football statistics and honors include 699 yards passing, 239 yards rushing, 244 yards receiving, 525 kick return yards, 103 tackles, 5 interceptions. He was an All League Honorable Mention selection.
In 2015 Little River was Bi-District champions and in 2016 they were District Champions.
Honors and accomplishments in other sports include 2017 3A State Basketball Champions.
Matt enjoys hunting and was an honor student in high school.
His parents are Milt and Marti Dougherty and his future plans are undecided.

Wyatt Dreiling, Pfeifer, has been selected for the Division I West Team. He is a 2019 graduate of Victoria School.
Football accomplishments and honors include: Selected CPL All League, 1st Team Defensive Line, Honorable Mention Center, All Area 8 Man 3rd Team and lettered in football 3 years.
Victoria was Undefeated State Champion in 2015, and reached the playoffs in 2017 and 2018.
Activities outside of school include CYO, Altar Society and K of C Member.
Wyatt enjoys riding 4 wheelers, hunting, fishing and farming.
School activities and honors include: Honor Roll 4 years, V-Club 3 years, SADD 4 years, FCCLA 1 year, Skill USA 4 years, Homecoming Candidate, Snowball King, Skills USA President and School Play.
Wyatt's parents are Jerry and Brenda Dreiling and he plans to attend North Central Kansas Technical College in Beloit

Ethan Eckhoff, Hanston, has been selected for the Division I West Team. He is a 2019 graduate of Hodgeman County High School.
Football accomplishments and honors include: All State First Team Defensive Line 2017; All League 1st Team Defensive Line 2017, 2018; All League 1st Team Offensive Line 2017, 2018; All State Honorable Mention Offensive Line 2017; 2018 Team Captain; 3 fumbles recoveries, 129 solo tackles, 220 total tackles.
Hodgeman County was Bi-District Runner-Up in 2015, State Runner-Up in 2017 and Regional Runner-Up in 2018.
Ethan's hobbies and interests include hunting, fishing, farming, cattle, woodworking, and playing guitar.
He was Senior Class President and FFA President.
His parents are Jim and Jackie Eckhoff and he plans to attend Fort Hays State University and major in Ag.

Angel Guzman, Ness City , has been selected for the Division I West Team. He is a 2019 graduate of Ness City High School.
Football statistics and accomplishments include: selected 1st Team All League Runningback and Lineback senior year and 2nd Team All League Linebacker junior year. Ness City made the playoffs 3 years.
Activities and honors outside school include CYO and Relay for Life.
Angel enjoys fishing.
Honors and activities in school include Principal's Honor Roll, basketball and KAY Officer.
Angel is the son of Santa Guzman and he plans to attend Fort Hays State University and major in construction management.

Kody Hawkinson, McPherson, has been selected for the Division I West Team. He is a 2019 graduate of Little River High School.
Football accomplishments and honors include: WSL 1st Team 2017 and 2018; Top 100 Senior Football Player; Capital-Journal's All State Football.
Little River was WSL champions in 2017 and District Runner-Up in 2017 and 2018.
Kody enjoys hunting, trapping, roping and sports.
He is a member of FFA, Trap Shooting and plays baseball
Kody's parents are Jon and Debbie Hawkinson and he plans to obtain a degree in Animal Science.

Colton Heskett, Hoxie, has been selected for the Division I West Team. He is a 2019 graduate of Hoxie High School.
Football accomplishments and honors include: 2015-2016: NWKL Honorable Mention-Offensive Line/K-Preps All District Honorable Mention-Offensive Line; 2016-2017: NWKL All League Football-Second Team/NWKL All League Football Team Honorable Mention-Defensive End; K-Preps 2017 All State Offensive Line/Hays Daily News 2017 8-Man All Area 1st Team; 2017-2018 NWKL All League Football Team-First Team Offensive Line/NWKL All League Football Team-First Team-Defensive End/2017-2018 Sports in Kansas All Non-Senior Team-Honorable Mention.
Hoxie was 2016-2017 Season League, Regional, Sectional and State Champion.

Austin Jantz, Fowler, has been selected for the Division I West Team. He is a 2019 graduate of South Gray High School.
Football accomplishments and honors include: All League Honorable Mention Quarterback, All State Honorable Mention Quarterback, All League Kicker/Punter, 2nd Team All League Linebacker. Statistics include: Passing - 224 of 466 passes for 2,797 yards, 46 TD's, 22 INT's; Rushing - 404 carries for 1,639 yards, 23 TDs; Defense - 58 solo tackles, 37 assists.
Honors and accomplishments in other sports include 2nd Team All League SPIAA basketball, Honorable Mention All State Basketball, 2018 State Basketball Championship.
Austin is a member of his church youth group and enjoys hunting and fishing.

Drake Steinbrock, Clifton, has been selected for the Division I West Team. He is a 2019 graduate of Clifton/Clyde High School.
Football accomplishments and honors include: 2017 - First Team All-League Defensive Back & Runningback; 2018 - First Team All-League Linebacker & Runningback, All-State Linebacker.
Clifton-Clyde reached the State Playoffs and was District Runner up in 2017 and reached the State Playoffs and was District Champs in 2018.
Drake was the State Powerlifting Champion in 2017 and 2018.
He enjoys hunting and fishing and was an Honor Student in High School.

Karson Waters, Macksville, has been selected for the Division I West Team. He is a 2019 graduate of Macksville High School.
Football accomplishments and honors include: 2016: All State Tight End; 2017: All State Honorable Mention Tight End, with 2,000 receiving yards. Karson was selected All District and All League 3 years, and was the Pre-Season Top 25 Tight End. Macksville was District Runner-Up in 2017.
Honors and accomplishments in other sports include All District Basketball 2018, Keady Classic Tournament Team in 2018 and 2019. Stat leader in points, assists, steals in Sports in Kansas 2019.
Activities and honors outside of school include 3-4 Recreation League Head Coach.
Karson enjoys hanging out with friends and playing NBA 2k.
Activities and honors in school include Scholastic Honor Roll 3 years, KAYS President 2019.
Karson's parents are Kirk Waters and Kim Waters and he plans to study business.

Cooper Windholz, Victoria, has been selected for the Division I West Team. He is a 2019 graduate of Victoria High School.
Football accomplishments and honors include: 2017 All District Quarterback, 2018 CPL 1st Team Linebacker, Topeka Capital-Journal All State Honorable Mention Linebacker, 3 time letter winner.
Victoria was state champion in 2015 and reached the playoffs in 2017 and 2018.
Honors and accomplishments in other sports include 3 time letter winner in baseball and 4 time letter winner in basketball.
Hobbies and interests include fishing, hanging out with friends and playing basketball.
Cooper was a member of SADD, FCCLA and was class president 4 years.
His parents are Chris and Kristy Windholz and he plans to attend Kansas State University.
