Delene H. Place, 82

Delene Hazel Place, 82, the daughter of Roy Clifford Goodall and Lola May (Pease) Goodall, was born December 3, 1938 in St. Helens, Oregon, and passed away on June 27, 2021 at Republic County Hospital, Belleville, Kansas.
Delene grew up and attended school in St. Helens, Oregon, graduating from High School. She was united in marriage to Steven R. Place and to this union one son and four daughters were born.
She lived most of her life in central Oregon in the towns of St. Helens, Newport, Bend, and Prineville. She moved to Formoso in September of 1998 to make her home.
Delene was a sales associate at the Concordia Wal-mart for 14 years. She was baptized and a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Newport, Oregon.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Steven R. Place in 2005, and her sister Barbara Mae Williamson.
She is survived by her children, Susan Foster of Willow, Alaska, Steven E. Place of Formoso, Kansas, Carrie Place of Wasilla, Alaska, Lori Espinosa of Camas, Washington, and Tracie Shelfer of Granbury, Texas. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Vickie Rae Stafford of Formoso, Kansas, and Mickie Lynn Fox of Concordia, Kansas, and other relatives.
Cremation was selected and no services are planned at this time.
