Kevin Peterson, 65

Kevin Brent Peterson was born on January 24, 1958 in Beloit, Kansas, the son of Roland and Mable Hill Peterson. He died on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at the Jewell County Hospital in Mankato, Kansas, at the age of 65.
Kevin spent most of his life in and around the Beloit area, where he attended school. He later went on to own and operate his own backhoe business for many years before working for Finn-Kool in Beloit. He was very good using his backhoe, and took great pride in his work. He was also very proud of the fact that he fabricated the most parts this year. He was known as a jack-of-all-trades and could work on about anything.
On May 5, 1979, he was united in marriage with Teresa Diers.
In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and hunting, and he greatly loved his dogs.
Kevin was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Glenn and Ivan; and his sister, Marilyn.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa of the home; daughter, April Michelle Peterson of Beloit; son, Richard of Independence, Kansas; brothers, John of Osborne and Gary of Eskridge; his sister, Carolyn Blasé of Sylvan Grove; and his grandson, Dalton.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 AM Saturday, December 23 at the Roberts Family Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 1 PM to 7 PM Friday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to Solomon Valley Hospice.
