Sondra J. (Eilert) Richardson, 69

Sondra J. Richardson, daughter of George Eilert and Anita (Brummer) Eilert, was born May 29, 1954 at Beloit, Kansas, and passed away on May 25, 2024 at Republic County Hospital, Belleville, Kansas, at the age of 69.
Sondra graduated from Cosmetology School at Academy of Hair Design in Salina, Kansas. Sondra and Janet Lervold owned a beauty shop in Scandia, Kansas, and later Sondra owned Hair Plus in Belleville, Kansas, until her retirement.
Sondra was united in marriage to John Richardson on August 27, 1987 and they greatly enjoyed 37 years of marriage together.
She was an active member of the Main Street Program in downtown Belleville, Kansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Anita Eilert; two sisters, Debbie and Diane.
She is survived by her husband, John Richardson of Belleville, Kansas; seven sisters, Kathy (Dave) Scott of Glen Elder, Kansas, Marlene Jaso of Louisville, Kentucky, Darlene Fischer of Gardner, Kansas, Mary (John) Quinley of Salina, Kansas, Joan (Bill) Meysenburg of Salina, Kansas, Karen (Brad) Kesl of Hays, Kansas, Donna (Scott) Remus of Glen Elder, Kansas; three brothers, Tim (Betty) Eilert of Beloit, Kansas, Henry (Betty) Eilert of Mankato, Kansas, Gary (Sue) Eilert of Beloit, Kansas; nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Cremation was chosen.
Memorial services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Bachelor-Surber Memorial Chapel, Belleville, Kansas, with Rev. Ryan McCandless officiating.
Private family inurnment will be at St. John's Cemetery, Beloit, Kansas, at a later date.
Memorials may be given to St John's Catholic Church, Beloit, Kansas, or Conners Cuddles, Belleville, Kansas.
Friends may sign the register book from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Friday, May 31, 2024 at Bachelor-Surber Funeral Home, Belleville, Kansas. The family will greet friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Saturday, June 1, 2024 at the funeral home prior to the services.
