8 Man Division I East Squad 2024

Beloit to host 39th Annual 8 Man All Star Games Saturday, June 8. The Division I All Star Game will be played at 10:00 a.m.

Josiah Bonura has been chosen for the Division I East Squad. He is a 2024 graduate of Fair Paravel Latin School and plans to attend college majoring in business and music. His parents are Doug and Shari Bonura.
He is 5'8" tall and weighs 160 pounds. Offensive position is runningback and defensive position is safety/linebacker.
His high school coach was Doug Bonura.
Football statistics, accomplishments and honors include: 2023: rushing 130 carries for 1214 yards, receiving 41 receptions for 649 yards, KOR 13 for 405 yards, 3 TD's.
In 2022 he was 8 man Division I District 2 All District 2nd Team Linebacker, 2023: 8 Man Division I District 2 All District 1st team runningback and and defensive back and 2nd team returner.
In 2021 they were the KJCAA State Champions with an 11-0 record, 2023 Sub-State.
Honors and accomplishments in other sports include lettering in men's volleyball.
Activities and honors outside of school include lettering in men's volleyball.
He is worship leader for the Young Life and Youth Group.
Hobbies and interests include playing the guitar, piano, drums, writing music, fishing and hunting.

Gage Bowers has been selected for the Division I East Squad. He is a 2024 graduate of Pretty Prairie High School and his future plans are undecided. His parents are William and Valerie Bowers.
He is 5'9" tall and weights 200 pounds. His offensive position is runningback and defensive position is linebacker. His high school football coach was Blake Lee. Gage's future plans are undecided.
Football achievements include: making the playoffs and a sophomore. Honors and achievements in other sports include selected All Tourney Team at the Falcon Classic and Burrton International.
Gage enjoys hunting and fishing.

Ian Brian, Car Paravel Latin School, has been selected for the Division I East Squad. He is a 2024 graduate of Cair Paravel Latin School and plans to attend college. His parents are Tom and Susan Brian.
He is 5'11" tall and weighs 210 pounds. His offensive position is guard an his defensive position is linebacker. His high school coach was Doug Bonura.
He plans to attend college.
Football statistics and honors include: 2nd Team All Offensive Line, Linebacker, and All City Linebacker; 1st Team Offensive Line and Linebacker.

Micah Cauthers, Chase County, has been selected for the Division I East squad. He is a 2024 graduate of Chase County Jr-Sr High School and plans for athletic training while being a collegiate athlete in football or wrestling.
His parents are John and Cauthers and Nicole Lemons.

Noah Collns has been selected for the Division I East Squad. He is a 2024 graduate of Car Paravel Latin School and plans to study Pre-Law at Harding University at Searcy, Arkansas. His parents are Trent and Miranda Collins.
He is 5'7" tall and weighs 170 pounds.
Team achievements include KCAA Champions in 2021 (finished undefeated), 3rd Place State 2023. Honors and achievements in other sports include lettered in Varsity Men's Volleyball.
Honors and activities outside of school include: serving in his local church, working out and enjoying time with friends. In school he is a member of the Madrigal Select Choir, Varsity Scholars Bowl, and Student Government Officer.

Lane Darbro, Madison Junior/Senior High School, has been selected for the Division I East Squad. He is a 2024 graduate of Madison Jr/Sr High School and plans to study Ag Business. His parents are Corey and Darcy Darbro.

He is a 2024 graduate of Chase County Jr-Sr High School and plans to play basketball at Fort Hays State University and major in Ag Business. His parents are David and Amber Griffin and his high school football coach was Derick Budke.
Brock is 5'10" tall and weighs 170 pounds. His offensive position is runningback and his defensive position is linebacker.
His future plans are to play baseball at Fort Hays State University and major in Ag Business.
Football statistics include: 290 carries, 3,400 total yards, 2,807 rushing yards, 54 rushing yards, 354 receiving yards, 4 receiving TDs, 458 tackles, 4 tackles for loss, 3 interceptions, 2 sacks.
He was selected All Grasslands linebacker sophomore and junior year & runingback senior year; District: 2nd Team Linebacker sophomore season, 1st Team at large defender and 2nd team runningback junior year, 1st team linebacker and runningback senior year.
He was selected SIK 8 All State Honorable Mention Linebacker sophomore and junior years & 1st team senior year. He was a top Champs in 2020, Bi-District Champs in 2021, Regional Champs in 2022 and 2023.

Brock is a member of the 4-12w Youth Group.

Tucker Groh has been selected for the 8 Man Division I East squad. His parents are Brian and Cindy Groh. He is a 2024 graduate of Chase County High School and plans to pursue a degree in finance at a 4 year Kansas institution and continue his athletic career.
He is 5'2" tall and weighs 170 pounds. His offensive position is wide receiver and his defensive position is cornerback.
His future plans are to pursue a degree in finance at a 4 years Kansas institution and continue his athletic career.

He participated in track for 3 years, lettered for all; 4 time Sate Medalist Junior YEar, Sate Champion in 4x800, placed 3rd in 400, 5th in long jump and 2nd in 4x400, Top 20 time in Kansas for 400 junior year; #1 400 time in 2A, School Record for 4x800.
Hobbies and interests include hanging out with friends and spending time with them, cooking for his friends and family (when they let him), Enjoy traveling and discovering new places.

He is a 2024 graduate of Moundridge High School and plans to attend college. His parents are Dustan and Brooke Kanitz. Future plans are to attend college.
Kreighton is 6'2" tall and weighs 185 pounds. His offensive position is runningback and defensive position is linebacker.
Honors and achievements in other sports include basketball-4a AVCTL defensive player of the year.
Outside of school he was a member of FCA.

Christopher Michel, Wichita County High School, has been selected for the 8 Man West Squad. He is a 2024 graduate of Wichita County High School and plans to attend Wichita State University. He is the son of Eloy and Carmina Michel.
He is 6'2" tall and weighs 220 pounds. His offensive position is guard and his defensive position is defensive end. His future plans are to attend Wichita State.
Team achievements include 2020 State Runner-up, 2022 State Champions, 2023 State Runner-up.
Honors and accomplishments win other sports include basketball, track, powerlifting 2 times individual runner-up. He is a member of the National Honor Society.

Jeremiah Prince, Sedan, has been selected for the Division I East Squad. He is a 2024 graduate of Sedan High School and plans to attend pilot school. His high school football coach was Mick Holt. and his parents are Jason and Amber Prince.
He is 5'10" tall and weighs 155 pounds. His offensive position is wide receiver and his defensive position is linebacker.
Career football statistics, accomplishments and honors include: 1870 rushing yards, 541 receiving yards, 355 passing yards, 40 touchdowns, 201 tackles, 22 sacks and 5 interceptions. He was chosen 2 time All League Linebacker and Honorable Mention All State Linebacker.
Sedan made the playoffs every year of his career and made it to the sectionals his sophomore year.

His parents are Byran Smith and Crystal O'Hair, and his high school football coach was Sean Blosser.
He is 6'0" tall and weighs 170 pounds. His offensive position is runningback and his defense position is linebacker.
Football accomplishments, statistics and honors include: 2021 All League Quarterback; 2022 All League Runningback; 2023 All League First Team Runningback and Linebacker, and All State Honorable Mention; Senior year: 1318 rushing yards, 25 touchdowns Junior year: 512 rushing yards, 9 touchdowns; Sophomore year: 586 passing yards, 12 touchdowns, 232 rushing yards, and 4 touchdowns.
South Sumner was District Champs in 2022.

Andrew is 6'2" tall and weighs 190 pounds. His offensive position was quarterback and his defensive position was cornerback. His high school football coach was Kevin Ayers. His parents are Stuart and Tanna Smith.
His future plans are to become an athletic trainer or physical therapist.
Team achievements include 2 time state runner and 2 time league champions. Honors and achievements in other sports include: 4th in high jump and the 400 in track 6th in 4x100.
Hobbies and interests include fishing, skiing STUCO and Principal Honor Roll.

Carter his 6 foot ball and weighs 190 pounds. His offensive position is runningback and his defensive position is linebacker. Career football statistics and honors include: Wheat State 1st Team for offense and defense.
Team achievements include making it to State 3 years in a row, won one and made it to the playoffs all 4 years.
Honors and accomplishments in other sports include State Runners Up in baseball in 2022.
Activities and honors outside of school include hanging out with friends and working. He made the A Honor Roll in school.

Jace Wunderlich, Central Burden Junior-Senior High School will be on the Division I East team. He is a 2024 graduate of Central Burden Junior-Senior High School. His parents are Jered and Micki Wunderlich. His future plans are Cyber Security.

Central Burden was League Champs, District Champs, Regional Runner-Up, First undefeated season since 1987.
