Frank Eilert, 65

Frank Eilert was born November 18, 1958 to Eugene and Joye Eilert. He died on August 3, 2024 at Mitchell County Hospital after a short illness.
Frank grew up in Beloit, graduating from Beloit High School in the class of 1978. In both junior high and high school Frank enjoyed playing football, wrestling, and track. He still holds the half mile 8th grade record.
As an adult, Frank lived in Simpson, Kansas, and could often be found fishing along the river banks, which gave him tremendous joy. He enjoyed helping his friends and neighbors anytime there was need.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Joye Eilert, and by his beloved brother, Darrell Eilert.
He is survived by his brother, Carl and his wife, Ardyce Eilert of Beloit, and his sister, Kristine and her husband, Charles Shumway of Cary, North Carolina.
Funeral services will be at 9 AM Wednesday, August 7, at the Roberts Family Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1 PM to 7 PM, with family present from 5 PM to 6 PM Tuesday, August 6, at the funeral home.
