Margaret "Elyse" File, 69

Margaret "Elyse" Kennedy was born to Homer and Margaret Kennedy on December 14, 1954. She died on Thursday, August 1, 2024.
She grew up with two sisters in the home, Betty and Linda.
She attended school K-12 at Orangewood Academy in Garden Grove, California, and later attended college at Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska, as an English major.
She then taught at Orangewood Academy for the High School English Department for five years prior to moving to Kansas.
On October 9, 1983 she was united in marriage to Randy File in Beloit, Kansas. Two wonderful children were born to this union: Mallory Elyse File on February 16, 1985, and Alex McGinnis File on June 1, 1987. Mallory's son, Jaxson McGinnis, joined the family on April 22, 2010.
Elyse was preceded in death by her parents, her two sisters, and a niece and a nephew.
She leaves her family, friends, and others to celebrate and honor her life.

Memorial services will be at 2 PM Friday, August 9 at the Beloit First Presbyterian Church.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation.
Memorials may be given to the Jaxson File Education Fund.
Roberts Family Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
