Keith Brooks, 83

Ralph Keith Brooks, 83, passed away Sunday, August 4, 2024, at Kenwood View Health and Rehab, Salina, Kansas.
Keith was born on June 15, 1941, at the Bell Maternity Home in Smith Center, Kansas, the son of Ralph Little and Gertrude E. (King) Brooks. He attended grade school in a country school and went to Lebanon High School. On July 4, 1976, he married Janet L. Gledhill in Downs, Kansas. Keith drove a semi-truck for many years but went on to farm crops on his family farm. He also did custom farming and hay grinding.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Keith is survived by his wife, Janet Brooks of Portis; a son, Michael Gledhill of Downs; a brother, Randall Brooks of Downs and many friends.
Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at All Faiths Funeral Chapel, 113 S. Madison St., Smith Center, Kansas, with Pastor Bruce Gledhill officiating.
There will not be a public visitation as cremation was chosen.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the First Christian Church of Downs, Kansas, and can be sent in care of the funeral chapel.
