Jack Clinton Krager, Sr., 91 years of age, of Concordia, Kansas, passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at Minneapolis Health and Rehab, Minneapolis, Kansas.
He was born on February 12, 1934 in Aurora, Colorado, to Oren C. and Zoa (Lipe) Krager.
Jack was a 1952 graduate of Concordia High School, Concordia, Kansas.
After high school he joined and served in the United States Navy during the Korea Conflict and was honorably discharged.
Jack married JoAnn Balderston on June 15, 1967 in Concordia. She preceded him in death on October 24, 2014.
Jack was a U.S. Postal carrier for the United States Postal Service in Concordia for 30 years.
He was a member of VFW Post 588 and American Legion #76. He served as a Past Post Commander and District Commander.
Jack's hobbies include hunting, fishing and stamp collecting.
Jack is survived by a daughter, Toni (Donald) Born of Salina, Kansas; two sons, Jack Krager Jr. of Concordia, Kansas, Jim (Kimberly) Krager of Little Rock, Arkansas; daughters, Debbie Collins and Lori Miller; son-in-law, Dave Walker, Concordia, Kansas; several grandchildren including Clinton, Melissa, Michael, Brenton, Corey, Allison and Cameron; several great-grandchildren including Skylar, JoAnn, Isabelle, Winter, Blayze, Ahzayian, Bryson, Briggs and Kamarion.
He was preceded in death by his wife, JoAnn Krager; daughters, Tanis Stufflebeam and Tena Walker; son, Curtis Krager; brothers, Jimmy Smith and Richard Sills; and his parents.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Burns officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Concordia, Kansas, with military honors by the U.S. Navy.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 24, 2025 from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m., with family greeting friends from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia, Kansas.
