8 Man Division II East Squad 2025

Beloit to host 40th Annual 8 Man All Star Games Saturday, June 7. The Division 2 East All Star Game will be played at 10:00 a.m. at Trojan Field in Beloit.

#20 - Eli Broxterman, Axtell, has been selected for the Division II East Team.
He is 6 foot tall, weighs 205 pounds. His positions have been Linebacker & Runningback.
Coach is Eric Detweiler. Parents are Brad and Andrea Broxterman. Future plans are undecided, most likely will play football at Baker.
Individual records include: All League all 4 years, All State all 4 years. Other sports: All League 3 years basketball, 2 state appearances; 4x4 Record, one state title. National Honor Society.

#5 - Rilyn Buessing, Axtell, has been selected for the Division II East squad. He is 5'10" tall and weighs 185 pounds. His positions are linebacker and tight end. Coach is Eric Detweller. Parents are Phillip and Stacie Buessing. He plans to attend Pittsburg State University for Automotive Technology.
Individual achievements include: Honorable Mention All League Linebacker (junior year), First Team All League Linebacker, 1st Team All State ATH, and KSHSAA covered All-8-Player First Team Defensive At Large.
Other sports 2 time state track champion. Activities outside of school include Knights of Columbus. Honors in school include: KAYS Club, National Honor Society.

#11 - Andy Cooper, Pike Valley, has been selected for the Division II East Team.
He is 6'3", weighs 180 pounds. His positions are: Safety, Tight End & Defensive End. His coaches in high school were Jeremy Miller and Brent Melby. Parents are Kade and Jackie Cooper. He plans to pursue a degree as a physical therapy assistant.
Individual achievements include: 4 year letterman in football, Sports in Kansas Top 100 Seniors Honorable Mention, 8 Man D2 All State Honorable Mention, 8 Man D2 1st Team All District Defense, 8 Man D2 2nd Team All District Offense and Defense.
Activities & honors outside of school include: Performed Heimlich maneuver on a co-worker/friend, volunteer youth basketball coach.

He is a 2025 graduate of Blue Valley High School. He is 6'2" tall and weighs 175 pounds. He plays offensive receiver. His coach Quinton Cravens. Parents are Cody and Jenny Sump. His plans are to attend South Dakota State University, then come back to the family farm.

He is 6'1" tall and weighs 175 pounds. His positions are Defensive End and Tight End. Nick Anderson was his high school coach. His father is Jonathan Hardin. He plans to join the work force in the welding industry.
