Marvin James Boyles, 69

Marvin James Boyles, the son of Delmar and Twyla (Howe) Boyles, was born on August 26, 1956 in Red Cloud, Nebraska. He passed away on May 3, 2026 at Brodstone Healthcare, Superior, Nebraska at the age of 69 years, 8 months, 7 days.

Marvin was born on August 26, 1956, at Red Cloud, Nebraska to Delmar and Twyla (Howe) Boyles. He grew up on the family farm outside of Burr Oak, KS, and went on to build a life rooted in hard work, devotion to God and a love of his family's land. Marvin was big on improving every piece of land that he touched and showed extreme pride in his life's work.

Throughout his life, Marvin was known for his passion for cattle and farming, his values and his wisdom. He was slow to speak, but wise in his words. When he spoke, we all listened. Marvin worked as a banker after graduating from Fort Hays State University. He later joined the family business, Boyles Ranch, full time, where he found his true passion and calling. He was especially proud of his son joining him and his brothers on the family farm recently. In the rare occasion where Marvin wasn't working, he enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, spending his Saturdays in the fall attending KSU football games, watching the markets, attending sales and bible study.

Marvin is survived by his wife, Deb Boyles, his children and grandchildren, Jami (Brad Elkin) Boyles, their children Alex and Harper; Scott (Kristene) Boyles, their children Kyler, Kamden and Averi; Brady (Sam) Alexander, their children Parker, Rowan and Maren; and Courtney (Van) Alexander, their children Liam and Collins. He is also survived by his two brothers, Doug Boyles and Bryan (Jan) Boyles, who shared his passion for their family farm. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Elaine Daubert.

Marvin's presence will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
