Carlyle Otis Saint, 94

Carlyle Otis Saint of Jewell, Kansas returned to God on September 9, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones at the age of 94. Carlyle was born August 21, 1932, near Randall, Kansas to Otis Allison Saint and Grace Mae (Snow) Saint.

Carlyle graduated from Jewell High School in 1950. He married the love of his life Mary Margaret Gaskill on October 26, 1952. Carlyle joined the Army in March 1953 and was honorably discharged in April 1955 after serving in Germany. Carlyle was a fourth generation farmer in Jewell County. He was a member of Jewell Trinity Methodist Church.

Carlyle was preceded in death by his parents; beloved wife Mary; infant son Allan D. Saint; and Sister Joy K. Dunstan.

Carlyle is survived by five children Rodney E. (Suzi) Saint, Larry L. (Camilla) Saint, Donald R. Saint, Denese M. (George) Griffith, and Curtis L. (Annette) Saint; six grandchildren Daniel Saint, Jeff (Morgan) Saint, Elizabeth (Jonathan) Pass, Will (Jessie) Saint, Nathan (Sierra) Saint, and Michael (Sami) Saint; seven great-grandchildren and many relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Friday September 11, 2026 from 2:00pm - 7:00pm with the family receiving friends from 5:00pm - 7:00pm at Kleppinger Funeral Home, Jewell, KS

Funeral Services will be held at Jewell Trinity Methodist Church, Jewell, KS on Saturday September 12, 2026 at 10:30am with Pastor Keith Shank and Pastor Jim Rice officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Carlyle's honor may be made to Jewell Trinity Methodist Church, Jewell, Kansas.
