Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Edna Carpenter, and her brother, Richard “Rick” Carpenter. Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband, Calvin Hayes; her sons, Troy (Marilyn) Hayes and Todd (Missy) Hayes, all of Superior; her grandchildren, Ashley (Neil) Bouray of Webber, Montana (Kevin) Soflin of Seward, Emily (Brad) Hanks of Seward, and Trisha (Logan) Evans of Kansas City; her great-grandchildren, Burkley and Andi Bouray and Louis and Nora Soflin; and her brother, Gerald (Betty) Carpenter. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends. Though Connie will be deeply missed, the love she gave, the faith she cherished, and the memories she leaves behind will remain a lasting source of comfort and gratitude to all who knew her. May she rest in the eternal peace and loving presence of her Lord and Savior.
