Nancy Nading, 84

Nancy Nading, 84, of Concordia, passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at Mt. Joseph Senior Village, Concordia. Nancy was born on June 27, 1936 in Okmulgee, Okla., to Carl and Opal (Crocker) Reitz. She married Dallas E. Nading on Sept. 5, 1954 at the Methodist church in Bartlett, Kan. They moved to Concordia following their marriage.
Nancy was employed by KNCK Radio for a number of years. She then worked at Dreilings Department Store before being employed by Cloud County Community College in the Community Education Department from which she retired after 20 years.
Nancy will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by her husband, Dallas, Concordia; children, Brad Nading, Garden City; Jennifer Rodvelt (Steven), KC, Mo.; four grandchildren, Scott Nading (Taylor), Manhattan, Kayla Nading, Garden City, and Tyler and Grant Rodvelt of KC; and two great-grandchildren, Owen and Cashton, Manhattan.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three siblings, Dick, Betty & Kaye.
Private family funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Wed., Dec. 2, 2020 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home with Pastor Melanie Adams officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Public visitation will be 1-8 pm, Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2020 at the funeral home. The family will hold a public Celebration of Life at the church at a later date. The family suggests memorials to the First United Methodist Church or Concordia Lions Club in care of the funeral home.
