Margaret M. Lyden, 89

Margaret M. Lyden, 89, passed away January 9, 2021. She was born in Benton, Ky., on March 12, 1931, the daughter of Finis and Nonnie (Myers) Pierce.
She was a retired X-ray technician.
She is preceded in death by her siblings: Elizabeth Smith, Frank Pierce, and Betty Lyle, and grandchildren, Betty and Aaron Lyden and Kevin Fussell.
She is survived by her children: William Lyden, Barbara Fussell (James) of Zebullon, N.C., Joyce Barber (Peter) of Hillsborouh, N.C., Meledy Allred (Mike) of Asheboro, N.C., and Jennifer Vandenburg (Daniel) of Downs, Kan; 15 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, as well as sisters: Laura Howard and Ruth Copeland, both of Benton, Ky.
Memorial service will be held Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Downs United Methodist Church.
