Barbara A. Wierenga, 91

Barbara A. Wierenga, 91, passed away January 12, 2021. She was born August 4, 1929 in Salina to Ralph and Beulah (Brown) Mitchell.
She was a retired cashier at the Downs National Bank.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ray, in 1995.
Mrs. Wierenga is survived by her daughter, Elaine Schreuder (Stan) of Downs; grandsons, Jesse Schreuder (Betty) and Brett Schreuder (Katie); nine great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and sister, Bertha Hesse of Wheatridge, Colo.
Funeral service will be Friday, January 15, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the Downs United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at the Prairie Grove Cemetery, Cawker City. Visitation will be held Thursday evening, January 14, from 7 to 8:00 p.m. at the church.
Masks and social distancing are recommended.
