Kirk Lyle Mitchell, 56

Kirk Lyle Mitchell, 56, of Osborne, Kansas, passed away on Friday, July 23, 2021 in Osborne County, Kansas. Kirk was born on September 24, 1964 in Smith Center, Kansas, to Doyle and Lola (O'Connor) Mitchell. He was one of several children.
Kirk was a cabinet maker by trade. He has worked for Smith Cabinet of Farmington, Arkansas, and cabinet maker in Wichita, Kansas, as well as building cabinets on his own. Recently, he has been working at Midway Coop of Osborne, Kansas.
Kirk was an outdoorsman. He loved to fish and go hunting, and spend time with his fianceé, Becky Snook. Kirk was a hard working man and was always there for his family or friends, especially if they needed any help.
Kirk loved his children and grandchildren.
Kirk was preceded in death by his parents.
Kirk is survived by his sons, Clark Mitchell of Smyrna, Tennessee, J. D. Mitchell of Lowell, Arkansas; sisters, Joleen Kats of Osborne, Kansas, Joyce Matal of Topeka, Kansas, Dodie Mitchell of Topeka, Kansas, Kathy Wade of Manhattan, Kansas; fianceé, Becky Snook of Osborne, Kansas; and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Thursday, July 29, 2021 at Clark-Gashaw Funeral Chapel, 238 N. 1st St., Osborne, Kansas.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Friday, July 30, 2021 at Clark-Gashaw Funeral Chapel, 238 N. 1st St., Osborne, KS 67473.
