8 Man Division I East Squad 2022 – BLUE

Beloit to host 37th Annual 8 Man All Star Games
The 37th Annual Kansas 8 Man All Star Games will be played in Beloit on Saturday, June 11th. The Division I game will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Trojan Field on North Hersey Avenue. Pre-game will begin at 9:30 a.m. with introduction of the players.
The Beloit Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a Pep Rally and refreshments for the players, coaches and fans on Friday, June 10th, starting at 4 p.m. at Chautauqua Park in Beloit.

Cayden Bauer is a 2022 graduate of Bennington High School and he plans to attend Manhattan Tech for Electrical Distribution.
Football accomplishments and honors include: 4 year letter, leading receiver, captain for 2 years in football and making the State playoffs all 4 years.
Honors and accomplishments in other sports include: Basketball - Bob Murray Leadership Award junior year, captain 2 years.
Hobbies and interests include hunting and fishing.
Honors in high school include Honor Roll 4 years.

Carter Brian has been selected for the Division I East team. He is a 2022 graduate of Cair Paravel Latin School and his future plans are undecided.
Career football statistics include: All League First Team QB (2 years); All County Top 22; All City Newcomer of the Year; 1st in passing TDs in Nation (8 Man), 6tgh all time passing TD's in a season (8 Man).
Cair Paravel Latin School was KCAA State Champion in 2021 with an undefeated season (11-0) 2021.
Carter lettered in basketball and was a varsity starter.
Activities outside of school include Lifeline Volunteer, Children's Volunteer (Mexico).
Hobbies and interests include snowboarding, 7 on 7, guitar international travel, mentor.
Activities and honors in school include Junior Classical League member and Actor, 1 drama, 1 musical.

Kyle Bruce has been selected or the 8 Man Football Division I East team. He is a 2022 graduate of Little River High School and plans to attend Hutchison Community College for diesel mechanics.
Football statistics and honors include: Selected All State. Little River was Sate Champions his junior year and State Runner Up his senior year.
Honors and accomplishments in other sports include going to the state basketball tournament his sophomore and junior year.
Kyle enjoys hunting and working with cows.
Activities and honors in school include football, basketball and FFA.
Kyle's parents are Royce and Sheena Bruce.

Cooper Clark has been selected for the Division I East squad. He is a 2022 graduate of Doniphan West High School and plans to attend NCK Tech College and major in heavy machinery.
Football honors include All District Offensive Line/Ebdsd 1st Team (OL) KSHSAA Covered 8 Man Division I football team; TVL All-League 2nd Team Offense; made the playoffs his freshman and senior year.
Cooper enjoys riding 4 wheelers and fixing up lawn mowers.
Activities and honors in school include School Honor Roll, Wrestling 3 years, Football 4 years, Basketball 2 years and Baseball 1 year.

Samuel Drinkard, Valley Falls, has been selected for the Division I East Team. He is a 2022 graduate of Valley Falls High School and plans to Highland and continue playing football at the college level.
Football statistics and honors include: Senior year had over 500 rushing yards and 250 receiving yards ad 12 total TDs. He was chosen First Team All District Offense and Defense, and All State Honorable Mention.
Valley Falls reached the state playoffs in 2020 and 2021.
Honors and accomplishments in other sports include Powerlifting - League Lifter of the Year, State Champion in the 181 weight class.
Hobbies and interests include working out, playing video games, and hanging out with his best friends.
Honors in school include being on the Honor Roll 4 years.

Dameion Gatton, Sedan, has been selected for the Division IO East Squad. He is a 2022 graduate of Sedan High School and plans to attend college at McKendree University, Lebanon, IL.
Career football defensive stats include: Defense: tackles, 246, 167 solo; 34 tackles for loss, 14 sacks, 7 interceptions; Offense: passing 448 yds., 9 TD's; rushing 763 yds. 20 TDs; Receiving yds, 1427, 33 TDs; League: 1st team offense and defense, junior & senior years, offense sophomore year; All Area MVP senior year, 1st Team Offense/Defense, junior and senior years.
Sedan was Sectional Runner-Up in 2021, Regional Runner- UP in 2020 and District Champion in 2021, 2020 & 2019.

Kevin Heineken, Madison, has been chosen for the Division I East Squad. He is a 2022 graduate of Madison High School and plans to go to college for Criminal Justice.
Football statistics, honors and accomplishments include: HM All State SIK; HM All State OL Wichita Eagle, HM All State Line KSHSAA, 1st Team LOL Offensive Line, 2nd Team LCL Defensive Line, 1st Team District Offensive and Defensive Line, HM Sports in Kansas Non Senior Team, 1st Team All LCL Nose Guard, 2ndeam All LCL Offensive Line' 2bd Team Grasslands Offensive Line.
In 2018 Madison was LCL Champion, District Champ[ion Regional Runner Up with a 9-1 record; 2019: LCL Champion, District Champion, Sub-State Runner-up, 22-1 record; 2020: LCL Champion, District Champion, Sub-State Runner-up with a 10-1 record.
Kevin enjoys fishing, playing football, hunting and camping.

Football accomplishments and honors include: Lettered all 4 years, 1st Team Honorable Mention 2021 season. Little River was the 2020 State Champions, 2021 State Champion Runner-Up and 2019 Sectional Runner-Up.
Honors and achievements in other sports include Letter 2 years in track, placed 5th at state powerlifting for squat 2020-2021 year.
Activities and honors outside of school include volunteering at Mt. Hope Sanctuary, McPherson Angel Tree and McPherson Community Building.

Clifton-Clyde was District Champions in 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021.
Taylor was a two time state qualifier in track.

Brec was an Honor Student and member of FFA.

Football statistics include 2nd Team All League Defensive End and Tight End; Honorable Mention All State Tight End and Defensive End.
Honors and accomplishments in school include National Honor Society and vice president of his class.
Hobbies and interests include hanghing with family and friends, working out and playing basketball.
Honors in school include being on the Superintendent Honor Roll all 4 years of high school.

Trevor Quaney has been chosen for the Division I East Team. He is a 2022 graduate of Burlingame High School and his future plans are uncertain at this time.
Football statistics and honors include: 16 sacks, 4 blocked punts, 26 QB hurries, 96 solo tackles, 177 total tackles, selected 1st Team All State, Unanimous 1st Lyo County League 2 times.
Burlingame hosted 2 home playoff games which Trever will remember forever.
Accomplishments in other sports include" 1st Team All State Basketball and 1st Team All Lyon County League.
Activities and honors outside of school include president of his 4-H Club, doing volunteer work for people in the community.
Hobbies and interests include 4-H, farming with his family and playing video genes and cards with friends.
Activities and honors in school include: Superintendent's Honor Roll all 4 years; NHS member for 2 years and Homecoming King.

Kaden Schafer has ben chosen for the Division I East Squad. He is a 2022 graduate of Little River High School and he plans to attend OSUIT Pipeline Integrity Program.
Honors and accomplishments in football include: All WSL First Team, 9 Man Sports in Kansas Defensive Player of the Year Finalist; Top 25 Linemen to watch; KSHAA First Team Offense, Football 2021 first team. In 2020 Little River was Sectional Champs, Regional Champs, Sub-State Champs and State Champs; 2021: Sectional Champs, Regional Champs, SubState Champs ad State Runner-Up.
Honors in school include having a 3.8 GPA and on the honor roll, he was also a member of Future Farmers of America.

Team Achievements: 4 year District Champions, overall 4year record of 34-6.
