The Mitchell County Commissioners conducted their weekly meeting at the Courthouse on Monday morning, November 28, 2022. All Commissioners and the County Clerk were present for the meeting.
When the agenda was set last Friday, there were no business items on the document. However, Eric Hamel, director of the Emergency Medical System, was present and requested a ten-minute executive session for the purpose of discussing non-elected personnel. No decisions were made as a result of that closed session.
A Neighborhood Revitalization Grant was approved for Brian and Julie Gates for an owner inhabited residence in the amount of $461,500.
Director Hamel announced the EMS was conducting an Open House at the Ambulance Barn to allow citizens to view and examine the new ambulance. The event will take place on December 5th from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. All interested folks are invited to stop by and take a look and ask questions.
Having addressed all the items on the printed agenda, the meeting was adjourned.
