Eldon “Stub” Martin, 89

Eldon "Stub" Martin, 89, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at Smith Center Health and Rehab, Smith Center, Kansas.
Stub was born February 23, 1934, in the Hawkeye Township, Osborne, Kansas, the son of Joseph and Stella (Johnson) Martin. On February 12, 1954, he married Beverly A. Kelley in Kensington, Kansas, to this union they were blessed with four children, Jeff, Rick, Linda and Mitch.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Beverly; a son, Jeff Martin; two grandsons, Adam and Brian Martin; four brothers, Ormal, Kenneth, Leland and Bernard Martin; and three sisters, Fleta Collicot, Letha Barret and Marilyn Nichols.
Stub is survived by his three children, Rick (Tishia) Martin of Derby, Linda Carswell of Smith Center, and Mitch Martin of Smith Center; a daughter-in-law, Lydia Martin of Grand Junction, Colorado; a sister, Bernadine Duntz of Smith Center; seven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Stub's life will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, May 13, 2023, at All Faiths Funeral Chapel, 113 S. Madison St., Smith Center, with Pastor Lance McDowell officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral chapel.
Burial will take place in Fairview Cemetery, Smith Center, Kansas.
Memorials may be given to Angelman Syndrome Foundation and can be sent in care of the funeral chapel.
