2 Vehicle injury accident near Beloit early Monday morning Sept 11th

A 2 vehicle injury accident occurred Monday morning Septembver 11th...at around 6:08am on Highway 24 about 7 miles Southeast of Beloit ....According to the

Kansas Highway Patrol....a 2000 Pontiac Sunfire driven by 25 year old Adrian J. Castellini of Salina was westbound on Highway 24 when for an unknown reason...

it crossed the center line and struck the 2nd vehicle in the east boun dlane. It was a 1996 Peterbuilt Semi Truck driven by 25 year old James M. Broeckelman of Beloit.

The 2000 Pontiac Sunfire driven by Adrian J. Castellini of Salina came to rest in the west bound lane facing west and the Peterbuilt Semi driven by James M. Broeckelman

of Beloit came to rest in the east bound facing east.

Castellini was transported to Wesley Medical Center in Salina...Broeckelman in the Semi was not hurt. Both drivers were wearing seat belts according to the Kansas Higway

Patrol.
